Brian graduated from the University of Southern California in May 1987 with a Bachelor of Science-Business Administration. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, and Richmond College in London, England.
Brian is an Executive Director - Investments within the Private Client Division at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. He received the designation Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) from the Investment Management Consulting Association through coursework at the Wharton School of Business in May 1998. Brian has been working at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. since 1993.
As head of the Summa Group’s marketing effort, Brian is responsible for the development, planning and execution of the groups various marketing and growth initiatives. He is a frequent speaker at Oppenheimer events, sharing his views on marketing and team building.
In October 2003, Brian was named to the Board of Governors for the Fulfillment Fund, a Los Angeles-based organization providing nearly 3,000 economically disadvantaged students with the resources, tools and skills needed to obtain quality educations and lead productive lives. He chairs the Fulfillment Fund’s Development Committee and works closely with the Fund’s mentoring program. Brian’s philanthropic activities have led to the formation of The Summa Foundation, which provides mission-critical funding to charities dedicated to enriching the lives of disadvantaged children in Los Angeles.
Brian and his wife live in Studio City with their daughter and son. Brian’s interests include traveling, golf, running and other outdoor activities.
